Notable Preservation
Preservation Utah (formerly Utah Heritage Foundation) annually presents awards to people and organizations who are "making preservation happen." In recent years, K.E.E.P. Yalecrest has submitted applications for awards on behalf of homeowners who have diligently remodeled their historic Yalecrest home within compatible preservation guidelines. Each of these submittals has resulted in a Heritage Award from Preservation Utah!
K.E.E.P. Yalecrest Plaques
In 2017, K.E.E.P. Yalecrest was presented with a State History Outstanding Achievement Award from the Utah State Historic Preservation Office, for "ongoing preservation, education and encouragement to the homeowners of the Yalecrest Historic District for maintaining the integrity of their homes and neighborhoods and National Register status."
In 2016, K.E.E.P. Yalecrest received a Heritage Award from the Utah Heritage Foundation for Outstanding Preservation Organization.
K.E.E.P. Yalecrest takes the Preservation Utah award a step further by presenting the owners with a special plaque attached to the front of their home, recognizing them for their notable preservation efforts. K.E.E.P. Yalecrest also recognizes special preservation efforts and 100-year-old homes with plaques. If you have a Centennial Home, please contact us if you are interested in a plaque.

Home Tour & Plaque Presentation
APRIL 2022—Temperamental April weather did not dampen the spirits of all who toured the beautiful, remodeled historic home at 1449 Harvard Ave. in Yalecrest April 23, 2022. Owners Robert and Kathryn Fowles were presented with a special plaque from K.E.E.P. President Lynn Pershing for their preservation efforts of the 1930s home. Guests enjoyed impeccable features like the original wood floors, iron staircase railing, lead windows, kitchen and bathroom tile, unique alcoves, ceramic fireplace and antique chandeliers.
